About the Show
Electro Muskrats is set in a magical world, which, on the surface, is very similar to our own. It involves two bored and poor renters, a ferret and a pleasant variety of villains and vagabonds to keep you on your toes. The main characters, Jeff and Gary are very good friends, but have entirely different characteristics. The show is mostly dialogue driven, with trippy effects, the occasional adventure and plenty of songs to liven things up.
Electro Muskrats started out as a short film-project for Nicolai’s school. The short film was shot over two weeks in September 2007. It was then shown on youtube as ‘The Pilot’. Throughout the latter part of 2007, a plan for six half-hour episodes was developed. Since January 2008, Nicolai and Reuben have been working tirelessly on filming and editing the six-part series.
Electro Muskrats is mostly filmed in Thornbury (a suburb in Melbourne, Australia). 
We also film in other suburbs such as Carlton, Fitzroy, Caulfield, Northcote and Elwood.
